Whessoe Varecing precise level measurement in a variety of storage vessels, the Model 1002 MSP magnetostrictive probe is designed for applications with clean and finished products such as jet fuel, diesel and propane at refineries, tank farms, natural gas storage facilities, marine terminals, and airport terminals.
Continuous readings for level measurement, interface level measurement, and single and multiple spot temperatures are possible.
The device's piezomagnetic sensor delivers increased level sensing resolution said to be more than 10 times the accuracy of conventional reed switch units. The only moving parts are the floats.
