A new, low-viscosity adhesive/sealant with high flexibility, EP37-3FLF is a two-component optically clear epoxy system featuring a forgiving one-to-one mix ratio by weight and volume. It cures at room temperature or more quickly at elevated temperatures. EP37-3FLF bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including metals, glass, ceramics, rubber, and many plastics. The bonds are resistant to impact, shock, and severe thermal cycling.

EP37-3FLF also can be employed as a potting and encapsulation compound. Its low exotherm makes it an ideal material for large castings. It also has superior electrical insulation properties and an exceptionally long working life. With a service operating temperature range of –80oF to +250oF, EP37-3FLF has a volume resistivity of 1 x 1014 ohm-cm at 75oF. It has a Shore D hardness of 30 and a tensile strength of 4,000 psi at 75oF. Peak exotherm of a 200-g mass is 40oF.

The new adhesive/sealant is available in pint, quart, gallon, and 5-gal kits. For ease of application, syringe applicators are also available. It can be stored at room temperature and has a shelf life of one year.
