The HART-compatible and microprocessor-based Sensycon TZID intelligent positioner is resistant to harsh and corrosive environments in the petroleum refining, pulp and paper, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, and chemical industries. It is available in die cast aluminum construction with an epoxy coating.

The positioner features Autostroke and has only one moving part with integral position feedback and configurable transfer characteristics. It also has high shock and vibration levels with a rating of <1% up to 10 g between 20-80 Hz because of the use of the Sensycon 22/06 I/P converter. The positioner is FM, CSA, and CENELEC approved as intrinsically safe for Class I, I, II; Div. 1 and 2 hazardous applications.
