To address the special needs of screening sawdust and fine particulates for the manufacture of particleboard and similar products, the Acrowood Particleboard DiamondRoll Screen is specially designed. This screen has different diameter shafts than the typical fines screening version. Materials spend more time in the nip for better screening of small particles; roll surface patterns are often smaller; and the Inter-Roll Opening has tighter spacing to accommodate small and fine fractions sorting.
