Automatic Handling, Inc.
Over the next fifteen years, AHI continued to expand: in 1985, we had approximately 25 employees; by 1995, we had grown to over 200.
In early 1993, we purchased BUCON Limited in the United Kingdom, now known as Automatic Handling, Europe (Ltd.). With full engineering and manufacturing capabilities for all our products, it completes the servicing link for the UK and Europe.
In 1994, AHI purchased Enterprise Steelfab in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. As a manufacturer of food grade stainless steel fabrications and stainless steel paper mill components, this facility soon began to also manufacture roll handling systems for the printing industry, sheet handling equipment, core cutters and core handling equipment.
In 1998, we purchased the assets of Engineering Design of Maine, EDM, and added their standard products to our existing line. Then in 1999, AHI purchased interest in a German packaging manufacturer, Erapa-Ceka.
Today, Automatic Handling Incorporated is a worldwide provider of high quality, innovative packaging systems.
