BASTECH 961 ANTIFOAM

BASTECH 961 is a water-base liquid defoamer packaged in 55-gallon drums, approximately 440 lbs. net each, bins and in bulk.

APPLICATION:
BASTECH 961 is fed neat just ahead of the foaming area. Care should be taken to insure mixing of BASTECH 961 with the foaming substrate. Rate of use depends on the severity of the foam but usually ranges between 0.1 lbs to 1.0 lbs/ton of fiber.

HANDLING & STORAGE:
BASTECH 961 should be stored above 30 F. Viscosity increases with decrease in temperature from 75 F.

USES:
1. Effluent.
2. Deckers and machine.
3. Caustic extraction washers in bleach plant.

BASTECH 961 is manufactured with ingredients conforming to FDA Regulation Title 21, Chapter 1, Paragraph 176.210. Following are typical physical properties:
