Beamex Receives A Major Contract For UPM/Shotton Paper

Pietarsaari, Finland — Beamex Limited was recently awarded the contract to supply workshop calibration system for plant maintenance and operation for UPM/Shotton Paper Mill.

The contract includes MCS100 calibration bench systems and other related equipment and services. This is a major turnkey project for Beamex and also another big step in Beamex's continued success in delivering calibration solutions to the Pulp and Paper industry. Both UPM and Beamex have their Head Office located in Finland.

UPM is one of the world's leading forest products companies. The company has production in 15 countries and an extensive sales network comprising over 170 sales and distribution companies. UPM's turnover in 2004 was close to EUR 10 billion and the group employs approximately 33,400 people.
