Coat Weight Profiler

The Coat Weight Profiler ensures an optimum, smooth coat weight profile through the precise positioning of the coater blade. Accurate and consistent control of coating applications allows to reduce rejects and downgrades while conserving raw materials and energy.

This device works with sensors and CD controls to reduce coat weight variations by as much as 85 percent and to reduce the time-to-target after blade changes, sheet breaks, and grade changes by as much as 90 percent.
