Case Study: Coffeyville Resources Completes Ahead-of-Schedule MXES Migration

Coffeyville Resources (Coffeyville, KS), a refinery and nitrogen/fertilizer business, decided in mid-2005 that they wanted to enhance the functionality of MAXIMO. The decision was made to upgrade from 4X to MXES – immediately. They wanted the benefits of the MXES version – enhanced reports, escalation tasks, screen editing, unlimited field additions, and enhanced domain list capabilities. Plus, they did not want to wait another 6- 12 months for a MRO upgrade path with an uncertain release date.
