Flexible Steel Lacing Companyon conveyor skirt clamps are designed to help reduce conveyor maintenance time by allowing standard skirt rubber to be adjusted or replaced by one person with the use of a rubber mallet. Their design is intended to reduce spillage, which slows buildup of material around transfer points and tail pulleys.

Each skirt clamp segment consists of one clamp runner and one 6-ft-long restraining bar, plus four clamp plates and four clamp pins. The system allows extra clamp plates to be added at any available keyhole slot along the clamp runner as needed to counter load stress points. Standard clamp plates accept standard skirt rubber from 4–8 in. and allow the use of skirt rubber up to 1-in. thick.

A mini skirt clamp with 5-in. clamp plates for installation on smaller or portable conveyors and those with confined space requirements under closely fitted transfers is also available. The 5-in. clamp plates can accept standard skirt rubber from 4–6 in., and standard skirt rubber thicknesses ranging from 5/16–5/8 in. The clamps do not require the skirt material to be pre-cut with bolt attachment slots.
