Digester Pulping Aid

BASPERSE 71DR10 is an anionic penetrating and dispersing agent with proven defoaming properties. It is used as pulping aid in kraft, pine and hardwood pulping processes.

The following results are being obtained with the addition of 3.5 lb. Per ton to the batch digesters.

1. Yield increase of 0.3 percent
2. 50% reduction of rejects
3. Soap content of black liquor increased over 100%
4. Bleaching cost reduction of 15%
5. 30% reduction in talc usage
6. 20% reduction in DCM extractables off the last stage washer.
7. Prevents scaling of the evaporators.

BASPERSE 71DR10 is chemically stable in alkaline and acid systems and is effective throughout the pH range experienced in the manufacture of pulp and paper. BASPESRE 71DR10 is added to strong cooking liquors and remains effective at high temperatures and pressures. Suggested usage rates are three (3) to six (6) lbs. Per ton of pulp.
