These gaseous noise reduction devices are designed to be installed downstream from a valve to reduce noise levels to safer levels. These devices can also be used in conjunction with noise suppression trim (installed in valves) to reduce noise levels even further.
- MegaStream resistance plates provide noise reductions up to 15 dBA, incorporating a series of multi-hole stages to control line turbulence and to absorb a portion of the pressure drop.
- MegaStream diffusers provide reductions up to 15 dBA and allow for variable capacity by extending the length of the device.
- MegaStream in-line silencers for reductions up to 25 dBA by incorporating a diffuser with a series of tuned chambers and tubes filled with sound-absorbing materials.
- Tiger-Tooth vent elements for reductions up to 30 dBA using a series of Tiger-Tooth discs; capacity can be varied by the height of the Tiger-Tooth stack.
