N/Aress is a continuous dewatering press that can be utilized in both virgin fiber and recycle mills. It has a graduated pitch and interrupted flight screw. Final pressing is controlled by a pneumatically actuated cone that provides adjustment of moisture content.
Wedgewire screens and hard-surfaced wear areas are standard. Service is obtained on screen rejects, shives, knots, and hydrapulper rejects. Inbound consistencies of 1% to 20% solids (greater on sawdust) are accepted. Press cake moisture is controllable in the range of 25% to 50% solids.
Seven models include the CP-4, CP-6, CP-10, VP 12, VP-16, VP-22, and VP-30, with respective capacities of. 0.5, 2, 5,10, 20, 40, and 80 tons/day of dry solids. The gal/min and horsepower ratings for each unit, respectively, are 6/2, 20/5, 70/15, 150/20, 300/30, 600/50, and 1,200/125.
