The KoneWood horizontally fed HH chippers produce quality
The KoneWood horizontally fed HH chippers produce quality chips from all types of tree length wood. The wood is fed to the spout by a spreader type feed conveyor and meets the chipper disk at an angle that optimizes the chipping geometry. Quality is maintained through side discharge of the chips, which minimizes the amount of pins and fines. The optional TwinChipper model features a second spout that accepts the breakage that has been separated from the main wood flow. This drop fed spout allows the proper orientation of the smaller pieces to protect the overall chip quality.
