The HI-Q Fine Screen provides efficient and economical shive and dirt removal from a pulp stream under varied operating conditions in all kinds of screening systems. The HI-Q Fine Screen capitalizes on the advances in fine slot screen- plate technology. The innovative Stingray Rotor makes it possible to operate at any accepts con- sistencies up to 4% on softwood and 5% on hardwood, while utilizing 0.2 mm (0.008") and 0.15 mm (0.006") or smaller slotted screenplates.

Maintenance
  • The screen rotor is mounted on a sturdy vertical shaft supported by self purging, grease lubri- cated, heavy duty bearings.
  • Chromium hard surfacing is applied to all grooved slotted screenplates and may be option- ally applied to any other screenplate.
  • To minimize spare parts inventory, the bearing assembly is interchangeable with the HI-Q Knotters, Rejects Separators and Trash Screens.
