K-TEK drilled and slotted screen cylinders are designed for high performance and durability to fit every pulp and paper mill application.
K-TEK drilled and slotted screen cylinders are designed for high performance and durability to fit every pulp and paper mill application. All K-TEK solid plate and wedgewire screen cylinders are manufactured to precise screen specifications. Both mechanical and electronic technologies are used to produce perforated hole and slotted cylinders to the company's exacting standards.

The entire line of screens offers a variety of patterns and profiles for both drilled and slotted designs. The broad selection of cylinder profiles and open areas allows for greater process flexibility, depending on the specific process and actual operating conditions. Hole sizes start at 0.0006 in. (0.15 mm); slot sizes start at 0.004 in. (0.10 mm) so each cylinder is matched to the application. The pitch, or slot spacing pattern, typically ranges from four to 10 slots per inch.

Materials of construction are standard 316L stainless steel, but other steels are available upon request. Additionally, some cylinders can be plated with hard chrome for extended life.

The screen cylinders are carefully matched with the corresponding screen rotor design so that performance is optimized for each application.
