Kadant Black Clawson Receives Kiln Flash Drying System Order

Mason, OH — Kadant Black Clawson Inc., a subsidiary of Kadant Inc., received an order from a large paper mill in the southeastern United States for its patent-pending lime kiln flash drying system, named the Kadant Mud Dryer (KMD), valued at approximately $2 million. The mill will use the KMD to increase production from its lime kiln. Start-up is expected during the second quarter of 2006.
