Kadant Black Clawson To Upgrade Stock-Preparation System At Interstate Paper

Mason, OH - Kadant Black Clawson Inc., a subsidiary of Kadant Inc., has received an order from Interstate Paper LLC in Riceboro, Georgia, to upgrade its current OCC system. Components of the upgrade include the Maximizer pulping bedplate and converting an existing cleaner to a Liquid Cyclone unit. Upgrades also include several new pressure screens and a conversion to the FiberNET pressure screen. When completed, the output from this linerboard facility is expected to increase by 100 tons per day. Installation is scheduled for November 2005.
