KBC Receives Follow-on Order From Fabrica De Papel For De-Inking Plant

Mason, OH — Kadant Black Clawson Inc., a subsidiary of Kadant Inc., received a follow-on contract from Fabrica de Papel San Francisco S.A. de C.V., in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. The new contract, valued over US$2 million, is for equipment that will provide effluent treatment and sludge dewatering for a de-inking line purchased from Kadant Black Clawson in early 2005. The mill processes mixed office waste (MOW) to produce tissue. With the addition of this new equipment, production capacity is expected to reach 250 tons per day. Start-up is scheduled for the summer of 2006.
