The Rovalve SB 1700 stainless bolted body knife gate valve, available in sizes from 2 in. through 24 in., is made of 316 or 317 stainless steel with a variety of operators. The unit features bi-directional, "zero leakage" shut-off, and is the only patented all-stainless steel valve that retains the perimeter elastomer seat in a bolted body design, providing confidence in the seat and packing.

The body bolts go through the body half, through the seal, and into the second body half. The elastomer seal is firmly locked in place, and no pulling out or shifting is possible. The use of the bolt-in-place seat allows this valve to utilize an all-around the gate packing assembly. The gate valve's perimeter seat is retained and enclosed within the valve body, and does not extend into or through the packing box.
