Lipy Paper Mills Invests In Fiber Lines At Kanchpur Mill In Bangladesh
International technology Group Andritz has successfully started up two recycled fiber lines at Lipy Paper Mills Ltd. in Kanchpur, Bangladesh. These start-ups mark the debut of Andritz recycled fiber (RCF) technology in the country’s paper industry.
Together, the two new lines have the capacity to process 150 t/d of locally sourced old corrugated cardboard and mixed office waste, converting it into recycled fibers for the production of premium testliner, writing, and printing papers.
Andritz supplied innovative technologies such as the PrimeScreen X pressure screen and PrimeFloat flotation system to minimize fiber loss, and an ultra-high dispersing system to reduce steam consumption.
Founded in 2016, Lipy Paper Mills Ltd. is a part of the Lipy Group, a family-owned Bangladeshi enterprise dedicated to producing premium paper products.
Andritz Pulp & Paper provides sustainable technology, automation, and service solutions for the production of all types of pulp, paper, board and tissue.
