QUALITY/PRODUCTION
HOOD DESIGN FEATURES
The primary objectives in the design of a hood and process air system are:
- Optimize the drying environment in order to maximize production
- Obtain uniformity in the finished pr.oduct with respec to humidity, caliper and basis weight.
- Maintain product quality including its humidity profile through the use of PV and other systems
- Controlling and maintaining a high humidity level
- Maintaining sheet stability through the dryer sections.
HOOD DESIGN FEATURES
- Water vapour from the drying process is efficiently evacuated by an exhaust system which incorporates strategically located dampers within the false ceiling.
- PremiAir hoods are designed to operate at high humidity levels without spilling or condensation. Exhaust is controllable in both machine and cross-machine directions.
- The front lifting doors are center guided to eliminate the risk of jamming or sticking
- The PV nozzles incorporate extruded alloy shapes to achieve maximum pocket penetration.
- Our hood is designed to facilitate access for normal operation and maintenance requirements.
