MCS-1000

The new multipurpose MCS-1000 Medium Consistency Sampler is designed for manual extraction of pulp samples. The sampler's "cutting design" handles shives and knots.

Samples from the MCS are very represen-tative because they are extracted from the center of the flow, away from the layer of water on the wall of the pipe. Its straight flow design minimizes the risk of plugging.

Designed for use with all types of pulps in the medium consistency range (8-16%), the multi-purpose sampler can be used with unscreened pulp, in low consistency and low-pressure applications.

The MCS-1000 is available in standard stainless steel or in a high-grade stainless steel for use in bleaching applications. The sampler is of rugged, reliable design featuring a weld-in stud for easy installation. Few moving parts ensure minimum maintenance.

The instrument can also be used in FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic pipe) applications.
