MDU Series Liquid Polymer Makedown System

The MDU Series liquid polymer makedown system is ideal for preparing accurate, reproducible dilutions of liquid emulsion polymers. The series includes numerous features to ensure ease of operation and reliable, uniform makedowns. All systems feature PLC control with user friendly operator interface terminal which facilitates troubleshooting and allows DCS interface capability from a central control room. The high degree of automation and control built in to the MDU Series, coupled with their rugged design make them ideally suited for highly repetitive operations requiring little or no intervention by the operator.

The operational advantages of the MDU Series include:

• Uniform, consistent concentration. The unique water buffer tank provides constant water flow – concentrations remain uniform, regardless of fluctuations in in-coming water flow.
• Higher viscosities. Our systems deliver specific dilutions at up to 50% higher viscosities than other units we have tested – letting you achieve desired results with less polymer at a lower cost to you.
• Ease of operation. The system is designed to provide reliable, trouble free operation. An automatic flush cycle at the end of each batch removes any residual polymer before it can build up in the system.
• Control. All systems incorporate fail safes, which assure tight control over all processing variables. Concentrations, volumes and make up times remain constant from batch to batch. Process variations are minimized: application rates can be optimized.
