The Model 302i field-mounted totalizer/rate indicator requires no external power and can be configured as intrinsically safe for use in hazardous areas. Designed to operate with turbine and positive displacement flowmeters, the 302i is housed in a polycarbonate enclosure that is completely watertight.

The rate/totalizer makes a good frequency-to-current converter. By measuring the time internal between input pulses, it is able to calculate flow rate and provide a stable and accurate 4-20 mA output for low frequency inputs.
