Perot Systems to Implement New Technology Solutions, Including Oracle Applications
Plano, TX - Perot Systems Corporation today announced that Neenah Paper, Inc. selected the company to provide comprehensive implementation of Oracle's eBusiness suite of business applications for its headquarters and mill locations in the U.S. and Canada.
Under terms of the contract, Perot Systems will implement the enterprise resource planning system at Neenah Paper's headquarters and mills located in Wisconsin, Michigan and Canada.
"We are honored to be selected by Neenah Paper to help navigate the organization through important technology re-development and transition," said Bob Riddell, vice president of consulting solutions for Perot Systems. "It's exciting to know that our business technology solutions will have a direct impact on our customer's ability to serve its customers better than ever before."
As Neenah Paper completes its business and systems separation from Kimberly-Clark, this extensive "from the ground up" technology project is critical to managing risks and ensuring effective use of the applications and business improvements for Neenah Paper.
"We selected Perot Systems as a strategic vendor partner to assist Neenah Paper in the successful execution of our business plans related to process improvements and systems integration," said Dennis Runsten, vice president, supply chain and information technology for Neenah Paper, Inc. "Technology is critical to our success, and we look to Perot Systems for expertise in the development of our systems to improve customer service and business results."
Keys to the selection, according to Runsten, were Perot Systems' experience in providing ERP consulting and technology-based business solutions for manufacturing customers, the company's quality and references, and its numerous successful Oracle and other complex ERP systems implementations.
