Flexible Steel Lacing Companylector V-Plow conveyor belt cleaner is designed to prevent lumps, fines, and debris from jamming between the belt and tail pulley. Intended for installation against the belt's bottom cover, on the return side of the belt in front of the tail pulley, the plow features a V-shaped urethane blade that is formulated for high abrasion resistance and long wear. The blade is formed with a forward pitch that lifts water and fines, spiraling them off from both edges of the belt. This action helps prevent fines from rolling under the blade and building up on the pulley.
The plow system holds the blade assembly downstream from the pole and the blade is allowed to rest on the belt and self-adjust by gravity in response to blade wear or belt movement. A turnbuckle permits blade adjustment for parallel, vibration-free contact with the belt.
The plow installs on standard conveyor structures, using bolted-on mounting brackets. Optional clamp-plate adapter kits accommodate small channel, rope, or tube structures. Four sizes of plow assemblies fit standard belt widths ranging from 18–60 in.
