Eco-Brite was designed to improve pulp bleaching efficiency, primarily in hydrogen peroxide and hydrosulfite bleaching stages of kraft, mechanical, and recycled pulp bleaching operations. It provides increased brightness, improved metals management, reduced bleaching costs, and sodium silicate replacement, according to the company.

The Eco-Brite 1400 provides the viscosity/strength protection for oxygen delignification and PHT stages, increased bleaching efficiency in peroxide stages, and an economical replacement for MgSO4. It is a liquid product that can be pumped directly into any process as received, with no make-up or special handling requirements.
