Q-JET DSI Tank Heaters
The Micro-Jet Array allows steam to be injected as an array of very small jets – this leads to very rapid, controlled condensation and the elimination of ‘steam hammer'. The system runs quiet and vibration free – something not possible with direct sparge systems. The Q-JET DSI Tank Heater reduces maintenance expenses. With the elimination of vibrations and rumblings, associated piping and surrounding equipment are not subject to constant stressing and flexing that can lead to premature failure.
The heaters offer a high degree of process control and have high turndown ratios. Steam can be added much more rapidly than with a sparger – results: shorter heat-up time and increased productivity. Installed costs are lower, since there is no need for the additional process piping or recirculation pump required with using externally mounted direct steam injection devices.
The tank heaters are available in stainless steel, Hastelloy, as well as other alloys. Units are individually sized to achieve the specific heating objective for the application.
