Stationary Siphon

Deublin Gmbh, Sub. Of Deublin Co. FS Series with Deltasint stationary siphon is designed specifically to handle the demanding requirements of high speed paper machines. The FS and Deltasint combination provides a joint and siphon that are rigidly supported by the machine frame and do not require any internal support or bushing within the dryer. This eliminates the need for periodic inspection and replacement of parts within the dryer. The unit is supported by the housing of the FS joint which, in turn, is attached to and supported by the frame of the machine.

The rigidity of the joint and siphon design results in the elimination of any potential movement of the siphon assembly due to vibration. This rigidity is critical to the performance of the siphon. Deublin's pick up shoe design hydroplanes on a film of condensate, preventing contact with the dryer shell. The design also incorporates a balanced end face mechanical seal, as opposed to pressure type joints that are commonly used on paper machine applications. This significantly reduces wearing surface friction, extending the life of the sealing mechanism.

The FS Series joint is available in various sizes and designs. Mounting is accomplished by either a belt support, bracket support, or rod support.
