TBC Announces New Organizational Appointments

Max Caldwell, President and CEO of Kadant Black Clawson Inc., announces two new organizational appointments for the company, effective April 1, 2000.

Michael A. Sieron is promoted to Vice President of Sales for Thermo Black Clawson. In his new position, Sieron will be responsible for all marketing and sales functions within the company, including sales of the company's fiber recycling, paper machine approach flow, chemical pulp fiberline and pulping liquors product lines. Also included are sales for both Goslin and Gauld, divisions of Thermo Black Clawson. Sieron has been an important contributor to TBC's success for the past 12 years, successfully serving as Director of Fiberline and Pulping Liquors prior to his new appointment.

Percy E. Brooks is appointed Vice President of Engineering and Technology. Brooks comes to TBC with over 30 years of experience in the pulp and paper industry. In his new position, Brooks is responsible for overseeing all engineering and project management functions as well as all research and technology developments within the company. Before coming to TBC, Brooks served as a senior consultant for Raytheon Engineers and Constructors, Inc. in Birmingham, AL, USA. His experience also includes engineering and management positions with International Paper and Georgia Pacific Corporation, and past President of Gauld Equipment Company. His strong background in pulp and paper engineering, project management and product development will be an asset to TBC.
