The ADI Anaerobic Modular Reactor (AMR)

Source: Paques ADI Inc.
The proprietary ADI-AMR is a packaged anaerobic wastewater pretreatment system for high-strength wastewater.
The proprietary ADI-AMR is a packaged anaerobic wastewater pretreatment system for high-strength wastewater. It combines both suspended- and attached-growth processes in an upflow hybrid reactor. This design ensures maximum solids retention and minimum hydraulic retention time. It is ideally suited for small flow (typically under 50,000 USgpd; 200 m3/d), warm, high-strength, soluble waste streams.

Advantages:

  • Simple Operation
    - fully automated controls
    - simple hydraulics
    - few operational parameters

  • Saves Energy
    - no oxygen supply
    - low pumping requirements

  • Low Residual Solids
    - low biological yield rates
    - stabilized solids wasted directly from the reactor

  • Small Space Required
    - high volumetric loading rates
    - compact modular design

  • Quick Supply and Installation
    - produced in just a few weeks under shop conditions
    - installed and commissioned in weeks rather than months

  • Tolerant of Extended Shutdown
    - can handle shutdowns of weeks
    - rapid restart without reseeding

  • No Airborne Particulates/Odors
    - completely enclosed vessels
    - no aeration equipment
    - biogas burned in a flare

    Included in each package:
The anaerobic modular reactor comes complete with all internal piping, valves, pumps, media, insulation, piping enclosure, gas safety equipment, and accessory items required to provide a working treatment system that is ready for start-up.

As with all ADI's wastewater treatment packages, our specialists are available to assist operators via phone, fax, and email. Your system is a major investment, and we will make every effort to ensure you are pleased with your investment.
