The Technidyne Optical Laboratory

The Technidyne Optical Laboratory (TOL) is the United States of America designate ISO Level III authorized laboratory for optical calibration standards. TOL is one of only five laboratories in the world to earn this designation. As a participant in TOL's calibration program our customers enjoy having the confidence that their calibration standards have the traceability and accuracy needed to meet their own internal ISO 9000 Procedures. In addition to providing calibration standards TOL also can assist you with contracted testing. Optical testing in our laboratory ranges from brightness to color and transmittance to opacity. Our facility is the only one of its kind specifically designed to serve the optical testing needs of the paper and related industries. We maintain a complete set of precision calibrated master instruments. Each Technidyne laboratory technician is extensively trained in the operation of each instrument and is thoroughly knowledgeable in the proper testing procedures set forth by TAPPI and ISO. This familiarity with instrument operation and testing procedures assures that each sample is tested properly, consistently.
