Waterlink/Hycor

Waterlink's Hycor® and Nordic Water™ Products for the pulp and paper industry are designed to help mills operate more profitably through reduced treatment costs, water reuse, fiber recovery, reduced sewer surcharges and reduced disposal costs.

Applications include broke thickening, fiber fractionization, fiber recovery, high density rejects dewatering, make-up water filtration, mill effluent pretreatment, sludge thickening, rejects thickening and dewatering, saveall, stock thickening, whitewater filtration and final effluent polishing.

Hycor provides one of industry's broadest lines of screening equipment. Screen media includes wedgewire, perforated, mesh, bar and specially configured screening elements. Screen types range from rotary drum screens (internally and externally fed), sidehill, moving media screens, gravity disc and screening systems with integral conveying and dewatering. Screening from 2" to 100 micron is possible based on the type of screen and size of the screen opening.

Additional Hycor products address the need for residuals management and include rejects dewatering presses, conveyors, separators and sludge thickeners.

Nordic Water Products include continuous sand filtration, inclined plate clarifiers and sludge skimmers.

Hycor and Nordic Water Products are distributed through Waterlink Separations, Inc., in Lake Bluff, Illinois, and handled through dedicated sales engineers that deal exclusively with the pulp and paper market.
