WESTECH Size-Press Starch

Source: Western Polymer Corporation
WESTECH cationic potato starches are stronger than cornstarch-based size-press starches due to the length of the amylose molecule in potato starch
Features:
Cationic Potato Starch
Greater Film Forming and Strength
Proprietary Chemistry
Replace PVA
Reduce CFC's in Functional Papers

WESTECH cationic potato starches are stronger than cornstarch-based size-press starches due to the length of the amylose molecule in potato starch. Less press pick-up is needed to obtain the same strength. Using less starch also means less brightness and opacity reduction reducing the amount of expensive organic fillers to revive brightness. WESTECH can replace PVA and can be used to reduce CFC's in functional papers.
