Wet End Chemicals for SC, Newsprint

Raibond cationic polymer is a multifunction solution for paper printability and paper machine runnability, especially for newsprint and SC grade papers. The Raibond technology for lint suppression represents an attractive alternative to chemical solutions currently available. It has lower molecular weight and higher cationicity/charge density than regular cationic wet-end starch. This allows the papermaker to increase retention and surface strength/lint suppression of paper without reducing drainage.

Raibond polymers also work well to fix anionic trash to fiber and can be tailored to provide additional paper properties such as hydrophobicity and wet strength. In the papermaking process, advantages include:
