Sly Impinjet wet gas scrubber removes fine particulate from chemical process exhaust air. Powders used in the production of chemical products are emitted during the venting of reactors. The scrubber "washes" the vented air to efficiently remove chemical particulate that could contaminate the ambient air outside the plant.
The scrubber features a perforated plate and impingement baffle design that creates positive intimate contact with minute droplets to thoroughly scrub dirty gas streams. It uses little water and requires little fresh makeup water. Low pressure drop across the scrubber cuts power consumption. Scrubbers are available in 100 to 250 CFM capacities for a wide variety of industrial applications.
